Print out the template onto some thick white cardstock, cut it out and use it as a template to trace the shape onto the back of your chosen paper. You can even make your own envelopes out of wallpaper, old colouring book pages, magazines or gift wrap. The blank envelopes are perfect for use as a printable mail art template. The patterned ones have a space on the front of each envelope for you to write the recipient’s address.

You can print the patterned template onto plain card stock or the blank envelope template onto some patterned scrapbook paper for a personalised envelope to match homemade cards or invitations.

Sending something through the post is a lovely way to keep in touch with friends and family. This means that if you make a purchase after clicking a link I earn a small commission but it doesn’t cost you a penny extra! This post was originally shared in 2017 but has since been updated.
